Tea at the Knee by the Sea

“It’s me,” said She

“Who’s me?” said He.

“I am the Bee

Called to see

If you can come to tea.”

“You and me

Having tea?,” said He

“Yes, you and me

Having tea

At a party at the Knee.” Said Bee

“At the Knee? That’s by the sea?” said He.

“Yes, at the Knee by the sea

On Friday at half past three.” Said Bee

About the Tickago

Mr Poe Mr Goe and Mr Mikazo

Went to Chicago

To get a Tickago

A Tickago is kind of a wall

That is very tall

That you need to bounce your ball

Mr Poe Mr Goe and Mr Mikazo

With the Tickago

Came back home in Mikamo

Elewyn

Elewyn is an animal with five legs

He juggles glasses standing on floating logs

With five ears he hears more than other animals

He hears noises in the water of chemicals

He has two eyes that are black

And he sees all colours lack

He goes to Elewyn School in Jud

And he likes to play in the mud

Elewyn eats mud, trees and grass

And drinks silly juice made of apples, air and brass

The Rich Duke of Jork

The rich old duke of Jork

Who had ten thousand hen

He marched them up the farm

And he marched them back again

When they were there they were there

When they were here they were here

But when they were only midway there

They were neither here nor there

Elephant and Castle Cafe

I dreamt a café called Elephant and Castle

Run by Rosie the elephant in the hustle bustle

Of the little town named Elephant and Castle

All the elephants come to eat and drink

And Rosie cooks for them all pink

Grass sandwiches and mushroom toast in ink

At the back of the café there is a little circus

Where a clown does juggling and making silly faces

Elephants eat and drink and break in laughs and claps

The Butterfly Walk

Katie the butterfly wanted a book

So she had to go to Butterfly Walk

To choose and buy a book

She bought a book about Butterfly Walk

Where there was a lot of talk in the book

Then she went to Macdonald to see and check

She went to Butterfly Walk walking

From her house high up a tree choking

With black fumes of buses and cars raking

My Wish at Trafalgar Square

The lion statues in Trafalgar Square

Look like giraffes sitting high up there

As if they are day dreaming

The round wishing pond under the fountain

Where two little ducks swim in the sun

You could see through clear water the wishing coins

I threw a coin with my brother

And made a wish for a shower

Which followed my wish getting us wet

Katherine Jenkins was singing on the stage

While we ran from the shower’s wet page

And the pigeons flew everywhere making a fuss

Gemma and Bat

Gemma the cat

Has a friend called Bat

Who is a boy cat

And he likes to play with boxes

Gemma is pink

She needs to think

When she washes her underpants in the sink

And she likes playing in boxes with Bat

Bat is fully blue

He is looking for a clue

Of the missing glue

With Gemma at the zoo

They found the glue

Which the giraffe placed in the loo

“It’s you! It’s you!”

They said to the giraffe the thief

Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet sat of a rocket

Eating her sweets away

There came alien Gider

Who sat down beside her

And they made friends straight away

The Duck Ran Away Rhyme

One two three four five

Once I caught a duck alive

Six seven eight nine ten

Then I caught it all again

Why did you catch it again?

Because it ran away in the rain

Why did it run away?

Because it liked the rainy day

Raaneem

Raaneem is my baby sister

She is sweeter than honey

And softer than butter

And I love her lotsomuch

She loves me very much

She can’t talk because she is little

But she can smile like me

She makes sounds and I laugh

When she laughs at me

She says: aagh, which makes me laugh

And I squeeze her and she laughs more

I love playing with her a lot

Raaneem is beautiful

She lives in my heart

And I am her big sister

And I look after her

And tickle her to make her laugh

Angelina  Lives Underground

Angelina Ballerina is a little mouse

She lives underground in a pink house

She eats her breakfast on a treetop

And she comes down in a ballerina hop

Alex is Angelina’s friend

They play with a box on hand

They eat their lunch in a basket

And they eat chicken buns and chocolate

They eat their supper in the pink house

That is underground in a village of mouse

And they eat a lot of mascarpone cheese

And drink a lot of honey juice from the bees

Chay the Clown

Chay is a Clown

With a big red nose

He lives in a house in a town

And he wears in his neck a hose

His shoes are brown

And socks are yellow and pink

He wears a red crown

Has dinosaurs juice to drink

He juggles lot of balls

And he talks to the air

He cannot help but falls

Three times over at the fare

Raaneem

She is one

And bigger than a bun

She is Raaneem

My little sister who is not dim

She plays with me

And keeps falling on her knee

She stands up on her tum

And then bumps on her bum

Auloka is her other name

We play a perfect game

She is no bumble bee

But we call her Bumboogie

Goe the Ghost

Goe the ghost shut the door

And he spat on the floor

At night in Gemma’s house

He went to the living room to browse

He found a Scooby Doo plastic Snake

And went to the kitchen to bake a cake

Then he went upstairs

To play on the computers

He sat and clicked the mouse

And played a game of Head and Louse

He saw a mouse and screamed out of his core

Everyone woke up and opened the door

Invisible Goe looked for the mouse on the floor

Back to sleep all went shutting the door

Leary the Snail

Leary the Snail lives in the park

He barks at the grass in the dark

He hides under the big red slide

As he is scared being without a guide

Leary the Snail is ever so sad

He has been since he lost his mum and dad

“Why? Leary, don’t cry.”

Said the Fairy who lived nearby

And with the waving of the wand

Leary’s Mum and Dad was found

“We missed you.” They said

And Leary went straight to bed

Raaneem

Raaneem is my baby sister

She is sweeter than honey

And softer than butter

And I love her lotsomuch

She loves me very much

She can’t talk because she is little

But she can smile like me

She makes sounds and I laugh

She says: aagh, which makes me laugh

Angelina’s Home

One day there was a Fairy. Her name was Angelina. She was flying over the trees. She did not see where she was going. She could not see because she was invisible.

Angelina got into the wood. She still could not see anything. She wanted to see. She turned around and she was visible and could now see. She was very happy.

She was flying in the wood to go to her school. Her school was a fairy school and there were so many fairy children.

Angelina went to school. She wrote her name by herself. She was proud because she could write her name.

She then she went upstairs and read a book. It said Teddy Bear Hide! It was a scary story. Angelina did not like it. She then got another book, called, A Good Book. It’s a fairy tale. Angelina liked the story.

She put her coat on and went outside and she played on the slide. The slide was very slippery. It was fun.

Angelina got up on the climbing frame. She had lots friends. She played with them.

Angelina had no home. So she had to stay at the school with her friends. Her friends did not have any home either. They were waiting for their new homes.

Angelina wanted to go to her own home if she had one. She thought about her own home and she really really wanted to go home, but the home was not there!

One day Angelina decided to build a home of her own and she was excited about it. She built a lot of homes for her and for her friends, the other fairy children of the school.

Their new homes were by the river. Every one liked their new homes.

All her friends said thank you to Angelina and she was very happy.
