Hi everyone! No Man’s
Land’s Boom, Munayem Mayenin’s play is done. Now, it stands, to be produced and
directed and taken to the stage and I am going try and see whether we could take
it to the stage.
I am looking for the following people, people who are mad enough to work for
nothing but to bring to London’s stage, World’s first ever Areal Play. Neither
money nor glory waits for you of the opportune time but posterity!
These people are not going to be ‘professional’ but a community. A community of
like minded people who would work together literally like a family, like a
community, like a group of friends, fellow travellers and co-workers.
If this works this family of people could form the basis of a New Theatre.
We need to form a team of:
A Director: I will direct it myself.
A Producer: Who is rich enough to fork out some pocket money for the crew!!!!
A Music Director:
An Artistic Director:
A Stage Design Director:
A Costume Design Director:
A Lights and Sounds Director:
A Script Co-ordinator:
A PR Director:
How would it work:
All the Production Team members including the Actors pay £100 each to form the
budget of the play which would be added to any money that the producer is able
to fork out. That is the money on which the play will be put up. This money will
be spent in the production and promotion of the play.
BUT NO MONEY IS PAID OR COLLECTED UNTIL ALL THE PEOPLE ARE APPOINTED FOR THE
POSITIONS AND/OR ROLES AND UNTIL THE WHOLE PRODUCTION TEAM HAS HAD ITS FULL
MEETING AND TALKED ABOUT THE PLAY AND ALL THAT IT INVOLVES AND AGREED THAT IT
SHOULD GO AHEAD.
No money is given to the Playwright or the Director. This money will be
collected at the First meeting of all the crew members and will be administered
by the Producer.
The Money made from the play will be divided between the crew like this:
The Playwight: 20%
From the Rest of the 80% the Producer must be paid back his/her investment with
a percentage to be decided by the crew members (other than the £100) and then
the rest of the money is going to be equally divided between all the crew
members in which the Director (in this case the Playwright) is to be counted as
a member of the crew.
This is not a Market Contract of capitalism but a resolute humanical (humanics)
declaration of good, deep and sincere faith and conviction to say that we can do
something if we really want to and if we really believe in it.
But this is not going to make anyone a millionaire, that’s for sure.
All the crew become the play and they play it as well as promote it.
No BBC or Channel 4 or 5 would cover it. No Fox News or CNN will review it. No
Guardian or Times or Independent would cover it. It is a hard day’s work in
honest and good faith that we could do something together.
Please, register, your interest in any positions or roles to: NO MONEY IS
REQUIRED OR ASKED FOR.
